The Rapid Result Initiative
(RRI) is a Sierra Leone Government/World Bank intervention
to jump start major change efforts and enhance the
implementation capacities of the newly established
local councils. The main purpose was to build confidence
in the local populace to support the councils in
their developmental activities which was geared
towards the effective and efficient provision and
delivery of goods and services. It is towards this
end that coaches were attached to these councils
to provide coaching and mentoring for both the RRI
teams and Councils on the RRI projects. Pictures

RRI Regional Planned Launch of Second in-country Wave
Document indicating the different Focus Areas of the planned second in-country regional wave of the Rapid Results Initiative including individual challenges, the Project Locations, the Goals of the different RRI Projects, the total estimated budget for each project including the amount that the Councils will provide. Experience Learning Forum for the First Wave of the Local Council's RRI
A document that indicates the key learning points that have been developed from the first wave of the Rapid Results Initiative. RRI Training Manual for PADCO Volunteers helping the Local Councils' Coaches
PADCO Volunteers spent two days being trained on how to assist the Coaches for the individual local councils on the implementation of multiple Rapid Results Initiatives following the successful conclusion of the first wave of the RRIs. A manual was therefore developed to serve as a reference for the Coaches to effectively train the volunteers on the basic concepts and methodology of the RRIs. [ Download/View File ]
